Message:My spouse and i ended up being absolutely happy Chris could finish off his studies from your precious recommendations he came across from your web page. It's not at all simplistic to just find yourself giving freely procedures which often many others could have been making money from. And we also understand we have got the writer to give thanks to for that. The entire illustrations you made, the easy website navigation, the friendships you will make it easier to instill - it is mostly excellent, and it's helping our son in addition to us understand this matter is excellent, which is wonderfully serious. Thank you for all the pieces!

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar will hold a meeting in Detroit on Friday with Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., to discuss how historic preservation tax incentives could be used to encourage development in communities -- such as Detroit -- where local economies have faltered.Joining Salazar and Levin will be Carol Galante, Federal Housing Administration commissioner, as well as State Historic Preservation Officer Brian Conway and State Housing Development Authority Director Scott Woosley. Before the 10 a.m. meeting at the Odd Fellows Building at 8701 W. Vernor, Salazar and Levin will tour the building, which the Southwest Detroit Business Association rehabilitated in 2006 using historic tax credits. Nationally, some 39,000 historic buildings have been rehabilitated using credits worth 20% of the cost of rehabilitating certified historic structures.“Detroit’s historic buildings and neighborhoods hold great promise, and already the Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentives program has helped preserve and restore 70 tax credit projects in Detroit since 2000, representing over a half billion dollars in private investment,” Salazar said.“Detroit’s rich history is captured in its buildings,” added Levin. “Preservation cannot happen without successful reuse of these buildings, and that’s where the federal historic tax credit program plays a vital role.”On Friday afternoon, the National Park Service -- which administers the tax credit program -- and the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office will host a public workshop about the program for owners of historic commercial and rental residential properties. The 10 a.m. meeting is closed to the public, but the 3 p.m. forum is open. It’s being held in Detroit at the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, Southeast Michigan Office, Cadillac Place, 3018 W. Grand Blvd., Suite 4-600.

Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh owes the San Francisco 49ers for a last-minute, all-expenses-paid trip to Hawaii.Suh was added to the NFC Pro Bowl team Sunday after the 49ers beat Atlanta for a berth in Super Bowl XLVII. Why? Originally a Pro Bowl alternate, Suh replaces San Francisco’s Justin Smith for Sunday’s game in Honolulu.Super Bowl participants, because the Pro Bowl comes first, automatically are removed from the active roster for the NFL’s annual all-star game.Suh, in his third season, made the Pro Bowl as a rookie but did not play because of shoulder surgery in early January. He still went to Hawaii to participate in the festivities surrounding the game. “It was cool to be able to do that, see the festivities,” Suh said at the time, “and it really just kind of makes me really eager to get back out there again.”Suh, who turned 26 this month, also was an alternate last season but was not added to the roster.According to the Lions, Suh is the team’s first defensive lineman to earn two Pro Bowl trips since defensive tackle Shaun Rogers in 2005 and ’06 and the first Lion period to earn two Pro Bowl trips in his first three seasons since running back Barry Sanders. Sanders made the Pro Bowl in all 10 of his seasons (1990-99).Joining Suh in Hawaii with be long snapper Don Muhlbach and wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who will make the trip (and take along his fellow receivers) but not play because of lingering ailments from his record-setting season. This season for the 4-12 Lions, Suh recorded eight sacks, second-highest total of his career and second most among NFC defensive tackles. He also had 35 tackles and two pass deflections.

KALAMAZOO -- Brady Hoke said today that Michigan punter Will Hagerup remains suspended, and his status for next year is undetermined. The Wolverines' football coach, speaking to reporters after a speech at a Michigan High School Football Coaches Association clinic, said he expects to decide on Hagerup's status by spring football, which will culminate with the spring game April 13. Hagerup was suspended for the Outback Bowl, his third suspension at U-M -- which have cost him a total of six games. After speaking for an hour to coaches on how he prepares his football team each week, Hoke said of U-M's season: "We had a (expletive) year, to be honest with you. Eight wins, it's not good enough."Hoke went on to say he was "extremely proud" of the effort his players gave in an 8-5 season. He was asked about his characterization of the season after the speech."I mean, it was, for the expectations (we had)," Hoke said. "It was probably an improper word to use. But, you know, I love how the kids worked, and they helped grow us. But it's not the expectations."Hoke also said cornerback Blake Countess (knee) might be able to take part in some activity during spring ball. And he said of U-M's 2013 recruiting class: "It'll be a big class. I'm not gonna get into numbers, but it'll be a big class."A year ago at this event, MSU coach Mark Dantonio interrupted U-M assistant Jeff Hecklinski when Hecklinski's speech focused too much on U-M for Dantonio's liking. Hoke said he and Dantonio have talked about the incident. "It wasn't a big deal," Hoke said today.Note: U-M has advanced to the Sweet 16 round of voting to appear on the cover of the next "NCAA Football" video game from EA Sports.
